There will be a brief Learning Center Committee meeting

immediately following this morning’s service, in Glenda

Blackburn’s office.

At 4:30 pm today we will be having a Pine Car Derby workshop

in the fellowship hall. Randy Click will be helping the kids and

giving them tips on assembling their cars, adding weight to them,

etc. Any of the children (or parents) who would like help prep-

ping for the derby are welcome to come.

Men’s Prayer Breakfast, Saturday, February 4th, 7:30 am

at May Lodge.

Women’s Prayer Breakfast, Saturday, February 4th. 8:30 am

at Billy Ray’s Restaurant.

Special Called Business Meeting: Immediately following the

morning worship service on Sunday, February 5, 2012. We

will be voting on the following two items:

1. The 2012 Church Budget.

2. Approving the Music Minister Search Team appointed

by the Nominating Committee.

Copies of the proposed budget are on the table at the back

of the sanctuary and in the fellowship hall.

The TeamKid Pine Car Derby will be Saturday,

February 11, at 4:30 pm. See Bro. Chris to pick up

your rules sheet and car kit. There will again be a

Soup Off during the derby. Please contact Bro. Chris

to register your soup or chili.

Blankets for Babies: The women’s ministry is going to be

making fleece blankets to give to the children at Sunrise

Children’s Services. All of the women in our church (from children

to adult) are invited to come on Thursday, February 9th from

6-8 pm to the Fellowship Hall to help make these blankets. This

will be a great time of service and fellowship with the women of

out church. Please sign up on the sheet in the foyer if you are able

to come and help.
